Every one has a story - this is mine!

Why is my life fantastic?
I'm so glad you asked, because.....
I count each day as a gift from God
and try to live it in glorious color!

Life is exciting!
There is so much to do and so much to learn.  I've learned many wonderful things,
and have loved and been loved by so many marvelous people.
Most of all, my family.
Husband, Don. Children: Dawn Lee, Don Jr., Mark, Dari Lynn, Matthew and Luke.
And oodles of grandkids, each so special!  And, I couldn't forget my in-law kids:
Helen, Cat, Wally, Sherry and Tammie.

I am loved!
But....I've been loved by someone else, with way more than the love
I've received from my husband ...or even my children.
Jesus!
His love is so undeserved, yet He loved me enough to die on the cross for me.
And.....for You! Think it over. Life eternal--that's a pretty good deal.
John 3:16 says it all!
With God...you don't have to give anything up...just the opposite,
you gain everything!
Life won't be all roses and sweetness,
but you'll have someone to go to with your problems,
someone who cares, and is in control!

I am blessed!
I thank God for each new day.
Each morning His mercies are new.
Oh, I don't have that new Honda del Sol I'd like.
Or, a nice empty garage, or  a  storage building to store all my crafting
and quilting  supplies.  Or, an unlimited bank account.
Or,--and the list goes on and on. But, I have life.
Life, here on earth, and a promise of life eternal in heaven.
See John 5:24 and other great scriptures.
But, sometimes, the Lord
has to get our attention - - -
In 1980, I was diagnosed with breast cancer
and had to have a breast removed.
Not a pleasant  thing to do, and I admit--I was scared.
Not that I thought I was going to die
(although the thought certainly crossed my mind),
but I came face-to-face with my own mortal frailty.
I'd always been healthy, had never even had a headache, yet the doctor was telling me
I had Cancer.
Well, the night before the surgery (as well as many other times)
I prayed and asked the Lord to spare me, at least for a few years.
You see, my youngest son (Don and I have six children,
all grown-up and married now with families of their own)
was just entering the 8th grade.  I begged the Lord to let me see
him graduate from high school before taking me home.
I felt my most special calling in life was to be the best mother
I could be to my children.  To me, that meant being around
until they were ready to leave the nest.
That was nearly 20 years ago, and I'm still here,
living life to the fullest.  When someone says
"You have cancer,"
you don't think about your possessions and your status in life--
you think about life itself.
The most precious commodity in the world.
And, I have a husband who stood by me
and never once has mentioned the disfigurement the surgery caused.
His patience and encouragement meant more to me than he will every know.
God answered the prayers of this mother
(and many others who were faithfully praying),
so do you see why I'm blessed?

Scroll on down on this page, please.

Are YOU blessed?

Or, are you tired of the rush of the world?
The hassle of everyday living?
The pressures that are pulling you in every direction?
The responsibilities of job and family?
Keeping up with your neighbors?
Spending more each month than you have coming in?
Watching the VISA and Mastercard balance grow each month?
Seeing the interest you owe on the unpaid balance accumulate?

Sometimes, wouldn't you like to tell the world to stop
spinning so you could get off?
You work so hard to provide and care for the family you love,
yet  you never have time to spend with them.
Do you feel trapped?  Weary of the rat race?

How long has it been since you've attended church?
A good fundamental church?
Not one that just tickles your ears, but one that truly preaches the Bible?
Hasn't that still, small voice whispered to you,
reminding you that there is a void in your life
that only God's presence in your life can fill?

How long has it been since you picked up a Bible
and read God's Word?
Have you tried reading some of the newer versions?
Like the NIV, The Living Bible, or my favorite--The Narrated Bible.
These translations make it so much easier to understand,
with a more modern day language.  Try one.

ONLY GOD'S WORD CAN PROVIDE THE ANSWERS AND COMFORT WE SEEK

There is no substitute way to obtain eternal life in heaven, but through Christ.

Oh, you say you think the Bible may be wrong?
But, what if it isn't?
Are you willing to take that chance?
Just because you don't believe it, doesn't make it any less true.

I'd love to pray for you, just ask.
